GETIN Bank is a nationwide retail bank which offers a wide range of services for individual clients, small enterprises and micro-companies. We provide following services:

• we grant loans, such as: cash loans, installment loans for purchasing durable consumer goods, car loans, installment loans (through the specialised department “Home”), credit line for enterprises, mortgage credit for enterprises;
• we service cash card and credit card operations;
• we run bank accounts, including personal and business accounts;
• we take notice deposits in PLN and other currencies;
• we run cash accounting home and abroad;
• we grant and accept warranties and bank guarantees;
• we provide factoring services.

Mortgage credit, offered as “Home – simply mortgage” can be designated for the following aims:

• housing (purchase, construction, enlargement of real estate and refinancing – repaying housing loans in other banks);
• integration (repayment of consumer loans and credits);

We have launched internet banking for enterprises. Soon, individual clients will also have access to GETIN Bank’s services through the internet and contact centre.

GETIN Bank’s capital is 100% Polish: 99.39 % of the Bank’s shares belong to Getin Holding SA – a capital group, which is present on the Stock Exchange and which includes, along with GETIN Bank financial advisory companies (Open Finance), credit brokerage companies (PDK and Fiolet) and leasing companies (Getin Leasing and Carcade Leasing Rosja). Another member of Getin Holding is the recently-established Noble Bank, which offers investment and credit services for wealthier customers.

GETIN Bank was established using the potential of Górnośląski Bank Gospodarczy SA (Upper Silesia Economic Bank Inc.) – a strong regional bank, whose shares were bought by Getin Holding from the previous share-holder: Bank BPH on May 25, 2004. Then, in December, 2004 GETIN Bank took over Bank Przemysłowy w Łodzi (Łódź Industrial Bank). A year later Getin Holding completed the purchase of Wschodni Bank Cukrownictwa (The Eastern Sugar Industry Bank), whose branches were included in our sales network in 2006. Banking licence and capital of Wschodni Bank Cukrownictwa (The Eastern Sugar Industry Bank) served to build Noble Bank. In 2006 GETIN Bank was once again rated higher in the ranking of the biggest Polish banks. In a ranking published by the daily newspaper “Rzeczpospolita”, which considered the results in the first quarter of 2006, GETIN Bank rated 14th among the Polish banks as far as the bank’s own resources are considered (an advance of 4 places compared to 2005). As for the balance sum, we took 16th position, two positions better than last year. The monthly publication “Bank” published a ranking of “the 50 biggest banks in Poland” and awarded us a special prize for the fastest-developing bank. We were also awarded in the category of retail banks.
